Helloo my beautiful readers ♥

How is everyone?? I can't believe December is going so fast, Christmas is in 3 days! I wish my 6 week holidays weren't going so quickly because i really don't want to go back to school! A few weeks ago, I received the package that i purchased from W2beauty and I've been meaning to write a blogpost about it but I haven't had the time, so here it is finally! Do you like my GIF? Haha, it's not that great but I pretty much get excited over the most random things :P

I've previously purchased from W2beauty before, and although the prices of their products are not as cheap as other online stores such as Jolse, I still turn to it because I love the service. Alice is such a nice girl and she's always so happy and cheerful, it makes me want to buy from her all the time! Plus she gives you a lot of free samples and lollies and freebies always make me extremely happy hehe!

Beauty Edition - What's In My Travel Bag? ♥

Hi Everyone!

Sorry for the late post ^_^
Today I'm back with a bit of a different type of post, It's the "What's In My Travel Bag - Beauty Edition". As you all know, I'm only a student, so I don't get to travel very often, but when I do decide to go on a trip overseas or just any kind of holiday really, i like to bring my makeup bag and i thought i'd show you guys what I carry inside it, since it's holiday season! So keep reading if you'd like to know more ^_^

I received this makeup bag as a gift from my aunt when i went to Hong Kong and she bought it for me from Disneyland. It's a really cute Minnie Mouse makeup bag with super adorable frills around the zipper area. I really like how they used Black and gold to make it look really high class and adding the pink for a cute touch. You can probably all tell how much i love this makeup bag. The makeup bag has the most cutest zipper of a pink and gold rose which you can see in the pictures below . What i also love about this makeup bag is that it's made from a glossy material so i don't have to worry if it comes in contact with water because it's waterproof!
The bag doesn't actually look like it's big but it can carry a lot of products in it. I don't have a photo, but inside the bag, there's also a little slot where you can put your makeup brushes in there if you want to separate them from your other items.

Review | Daiso False Eyelashes ♥

Hi Everyone!!

We've finally hit December! Only a few more weeks til Christmas YAY! Who else is excited? :P
I have short Asian lashes but I've never felt the need to use false eyelashes because I don't like having such dramatic makeup. I usually just add a few coats mascara and i'm fine with that, even though they don't look extremely long. However, when a new Daiso Store opened up near me, i could resist but to buy these extremely cheap falsies for $2.80! They were practically jumping at me to buy them haha lol not really, but you get what i mean ;P

"Work Of Heart" Sportgirl Eyeshadow Palette Review + Swatches ♥

Hey Everyone!

Can you believe it, it's already the end of November and we're so close to hitting 2014! This year has gone by so quickly, its so weird!! But at the same time, i'm excited because i love the month of December because it means that i finally get my 6 week summer holidays yay!!

As you can probably tell from the title, this is a review on the 'Work of Heart" Eyeshadow palette, there's actually a typo in the photo above but i was too lazy to fix it so please excuse that hehe ^~^ For those who don't live in Australia probably won't be very familiar with Sportsgirl! Sportsgirl is a basically a fashion store that sells really nice women's clothing, accessories, bags and makeup! This is the first time I've ever tried their makeup brand and I received this as a gift from my sister so a shout out to her hehe thank youu <3

Sally Hershberger Hyper Hydration Super Argan Hair Serum Review ♥

Hi everyone ^_^

How has your week been?? I'm so glad its finally Saturday, I've been so tired going to school and i've been bombarded with assignments and home work! It's good to have a two days rest >_< Back to the main topic though,  if you didn't know yet, I've dyed my hair about 3 times before and because of that, my hair has become dry and unruly :( Due to having school, i've had no time to pamper my hair, which is probably the reason why.

Like legit,  it looks so dead, but i really don't want to cut it because every time i tell the hairdresser to cut really little, they end up snipping like 3 inches off :( Can anyone relate!? Or is it just me...*Awkward silence*. So I decided to search for a remedy to treat my dry hair!!

When I was watching Michelle phan's video, she suggested Sally Hershbergers spray treatment so I decided to try it since she had dyed her hair many times previously and it still looks amazing, so I figured that this was probably the secret to her nice hair ;P When I looked online though I either couldn't find a site that shipped the spray on treatment to where I lived or the shipping costed more than the actual product.

Of course I then went on eBay and found this treatment oil instead. Although it wasn't the spray on treatment, I figured that this product, being from the same brand, would still do the same wonders to my hair!

[REVIEW] Elite 3 in 1 Cream ♥

Hi Everyone!!

I'm finally back with a product review! Sorry for the lack of reviews lately, I haven't had the time to take pictures of swatches and stuff so i didn't want to upload them yet!! But today, I've got a review on a product that many of you guys probably wouldn't have heard of unless you follow the Beauty Guru, Shantea Mac (luvableviet) on Youtube. She's a Vietnamese beauty guru and the sister of Lili Mac (Lilisimply). She has really nice skin and she recommended this Vietnamese cream that she swears by in one of her video and sells them on her own online shop - Loveshantea

As you would've probably already guessed from the title, its called the Elite 3 in 1 cream. It's a whitening cream and she recommended it to those who want a whiter complexion and those who want to get rid of acne. I've suffered from acne since i was young so when i heard of this miracle cream, i wanted to get my hands on it real quick. The price did make me cringe because it costed $30 + $12 shipping and as a student, that's pretty expensive. Plus, there weren't many reviews about this cream online so i wasn't sure if it was legit, but i decided to take the risk, because you'd do anything for pretty skin right? :P

Fashion Haul! Ft. Temt, Valleygirl, Kate Hill and Sportsgirl! ♥

Hi everyone!

Today I have a haul post for all of you guys! You guys must be so sick of seeing my hauls, but i'm really busy at the moment  and i will try and get more reviews up next week :)

Once again, its a haul from my favourite fashion stores, Temt and Valleygirl as well as Sportsgirl and Kate Hill. Temt and Valleygirl were having a store wide 30% off sales so i couldn't help but buy a few things here and there. And as for Sportsgirl and Kate Hill, my sister and I just decided to drop by to pick up two handbags that were on sale :)

[Review] Missha M Super Extreme Waterproof Eyeliner Black ♥

Hi Everyone!

As promised in a couple of posts back, I said I'd review all the products that i purchased in my Jolse Haul which you can check out HERE! I was actually super excited about this particular eyeliner because this is the first time i've used a potted liquid liner. For around 2  years, I've only tried pen liquid liners because they're just so easy to use and control. But since the pen eyeliners which I've been using have recently all decided to run out at once, i took this chance to try a potted liquid liner by Missha, a brand which I've heard a million times, but never tried a single product!

Description:

"Long lasting Liquid type eyeliner to keep eye line clear and delicate with its powerful water proof effect

Create easy and speedy makeup while being dried quickly

Recommended for :

Women who want to keep clear eye makeup all day long against sweat or sebum on the eye areas

Women who want to keep gorgeous eye makeup even in the swimming pool or beach"

As mentioned in my Jolse Haul post, i thought the packaging was very pretty and sophisticated. The gold stripe and navy blue combination makes the product look very high class and of high quality! However, i really shouldn't be judging a product based on how they look right?? Quality is what its really about ^_^ The actual eyeliner pot is pretty small, about 2 cm in height, but the brush and handle is pretty long which is great for holding and makes the eyeliner easier to control which is awesome :P (since I'm a noob at using pot liquid liners~)

I actually have no idea how much product this contains, judging by the container, i'm guessing like 3g! It might seem a little but I've been using it for a month and it still seems like there's a lot left! I might do an update later to inform you guys how long it actually las

Lioele Pop Tints Review ♥

Hi Everyone!!

I usually upload posts on Saturdays but a few days ago i received these lip tints in my mail box and i couldn't wait to share it with you guys and post the giveaway as well!

Lately, I've seen a lot of posts about lip tints from different brands like Lioele, Etude house and Tony Moly and i decided to buy some to try out to see what everyone was raving about! I was originally going to try the Etude House lip tints but these were cheaper and the packaging really reminded me of the Benetints that i always see in stores, so it was a really cute dupe!

I actually originally ordered the Lioele Orange Tint and Pinky Tint but the online store i got it from sent me the cherry tint instead. I was going to send it back but figured that it would've taken too long so might as well just try the bold colour!

Firstly i have to say that the packaging is soo adorable! It's like a nail polish but its a lip tint!
It's funny because the packaging of the orange tint and the cherry tints are different. The cherry tint uses a transparent container whilst the orange tint doesn't.

The consistency of both tints are also quite different. The Cherry Tint is more runny and dries a lot quicker, whilst the orange tint is a bit more creamy, thicker and more wet.

Comparing Juju Aquamoist Vitamin C & Collagen Toner ♥

Hi Everyone!!

Toner is an important part of everyone's skin routine because it helps to minimise the appearance of pores as well as tightening the skin. I never used to use toners until my skin became really bad and i realised how much a toner can help to improve the appearance of my skin.  I used to go for regular drugstore brands such as Nivea, Neutrogena and Dove toners, because they had special ones for clearing acne and blackheads. However because those ones contain a lot of alcohol it would always irritate my skin and didn't do much to improve my complexion. So last year i turned to Korean and Japanese toners for my skincare routine and the first one that caught my eye when i was shopping on Sasa.com was the Juju Aquamoist Vitamin C toner.

I heard great reviews about it online and from Bubzbeauty and it was much better than regular drugstore brands. However when i ran out of it eventually, i purchased the collagen toner from YesStyle because they didn't sell the vitamin C one. This post will be comparing the two toners and at the end I'll tell you which one i like better :)

This one is the Juju Aquamoist Hyaluronic Moisture Toner which costed $18 on YesStyle.com.au

Directions: After cleansing, saturate cotton with Hyaluronic Acid Collagen Moisture Toner and apply on face.

This one is the Juju Aquamoist Vitamin C Toner. I purchased it from Sasa for around $14.90

Directions: After toning, apply an appropriate amount on face until fully absorbed.

[REVIEW + UPDATE] NEW Bubbi Eye Brushes + Face Brush Updates Pt. 2 ♥

Hi Everyone!

One of my first posts on my blog was the Bubbi Face Brushes Review and I've finally got around to writing the Eye Brushes review, so sorry for the long wait hehe :P And also because it's been so long since the last Bubbi Brush review, I've decided to do an update as well on the face brushes :) Also, i borrowed a camera off my sister so the photo quality will be a lot better than before ^_^

During these months, i've kind of abandoned the travel case that came with the brushes because i store my brushes in a container that i bought from Daiso a few weeks ago! However, if i ever do go on holidays, it would be a great way to protect the brush bristles.

It only costed $2.80 and i think it's a quite pretty container! It's just big and long enough to hold the whole set of brushes !

Yesstyle.com.au Cosmetics Haul ♥

Hi Everyone!

Today's haul is from Yesstyle.com.au, which I'm sure many of you have probably already heard of! I used to love looking at all the stuff that YesStyle sells but I hadn't bought anything there before because their shipping fees to Australia was just too expensive. So i'd usually choose alternatives to buy similar products such as Sasa and eBay. However, starting from two months ago, they began to have free shipping on all orders made on their website so I quickly hopped on and bought a couple of things.

I actually made this order a month ago so i don't really remember how long it took for the package to arrive, but it was approximately 3 weeks. Everything came in a big white box with Yesstyle.com on it and all the items were carefully wrapped in bubble wrap. Altogether I bought four things including:

1. Skin 79 - Super Plus Beblesh Balm (VIP Gold BB Cream) SPF 25 PA++ [40g]
AUD- $18
2. Ponds - Flawless White Ultra Luminous Night Treatment [50g]
AUD - $18
3. Laneige - Power Essential Skin Refiner_EX
AUD - $20
4. SANA Hadanomy Collagen Mist
AUD - $18

Onto the Haul... ♥ (Full reviews will be coming later)

Jolse.com Cosmetics Haul Part 1 ♥

Hi Everyone!

So in one of my previous posts I mentioned that I really like shopping online at a Korean Cosmetics shop called W2Beauty. Well, recently I found another online cosmetics shop which was very similar to W2beauty called Jolse. As I looked around their online shop, i found that they sold many Korean cosmetics at a really low price and they provided free shipping and lots of free gifts for every order made! They also have this program where when you first sign up for an account you get a free 300 points which is equivalent to a $3 voucher which you can use on your first purchase! All these things really drew me in and i decided to try it out and see how their services were.

Jolse.com offers free shipping for all orders however i decided to pay an extra $3 so that i could track my order and make sure that i had some kind of insurance. So the package came pretty quickly but slower compared to the W2beauty order. Overall it took 19 days to arrive which i was very happy about!

Ordered on Saturday 14th September 2013
Shipped on Monday 16th September 2013
Arrived on Thursday 3rd October 2013

Once again, when I unboxed the package i was overwhelmed by how many free samples they gave me! As i mentioned in my last haul post, sometimes i enjoy receiving samples rather than the package itself. Altogether they gave me 8 samples ranging from different brands and a mixture of both cosmetics products and skin care products.

W2beauty Review + Tony Moly Perfect Eyes Long Kinny Gel Pen Liner Swatches ♥

Hey guys! ♥

Today's post is on a Korean cosmetics online store called W2beauty, which i'm pretty sure most of you guys have heard of before!

I love shopping online because you can find stuff that you probably wouldn't be able to find in physical stores (especially in Australia) and this includes Asian cosmetics products. That's why, when the first time i heard of W2beauty, i was extremely excited because it sold Korean makeup and skincare products at a really cheap price as compared to other sites like YesStyle.

[Haul] Valleygirl, SUPRÉ & Myer Fashion Haul ♥

Hey Everyone :)

How are you all? I hope you guys are all going well ^^. Holidays have just started over in Australia so I have two weeks of freedom~ During the weekends, I definitely took advantage of it and went hunting for bargains and sales everywhere. As you can tell from the title, I managed to grab hold of a few items from Valleygirl, SUPRÉ and Myers.

SUPRÉ

I hardly ever shop at SUPRÉ because I feel like their clothes aren't worth the price you have to pay. Their material is usually really thin for a really expensive price, but I do have to admit that some of the clothes that they sell are quite decent and the price is definitely a lot more affordable during sales which you can usually find here and there during change of season periods. So they had a range of jumpers that were on sale and I bought two of them.

[Haul + Swatches] Maybelline Mini Haul ♥

Hi Everyone!

What's your favourite drug store brand? Since I'm only a teenager, I can pretty much only afford drug store makeup. I really would love to try high end products like Benefits Cosmetics and M.A.C, but its too pricey for me so I like to stick to buying similar products from drug stores like Target or Priceline instead :) My favourite drug store brand is of course Maybelline because the price is great for the quality that you get!

Recently, Priceline had a 50% off sales on all Maybelline products and I couldn't help but check it out myself after seeing a friends haul featuring a lot of products that were extremely tempting to buy.

[Review + Swatches] Dolly Wink Eyeshadow Quad (01 Brown) ♥

Hi everyone!!

Throughout the years that I've used makeup, eye shadows have definitely not been an essential in my makeup routine. Eyeliner would be considered the most important because it defines the eyes and really makes your eyes stand out from a crowd. I really like smokey eye effects looks however, it never really worked out for me because whenever I wore it, it looked like I had a bruised eye. But after reading many reviews and raves about this product, I decided to give it a try and I bought this online for around $16AUD which is quite pricey for a small eye shadow quad!

Of course, the first thing I noticed was the shift from typical dolly wink packaging that were usually really pinky pastelly colours to this a more darker brown packaging. I actually like it because sometimes pink packaging may look too mainstream. Also, they have once again used the floral design all over the packaging like they with the Dolly Wink Liquid Liner which I did a review here! I didn't really like the floral print on the eyeliner packaging, but for some reason, it actually looks quite pretty on this product :)

[Review] Comparing Dolly Wink Liquid Liner & K-Palette 24 hrs lasting liner ♥

Hi Everyone!

Eyeliner was the first piece of makeup i had ever used and from the first day, i had already instantly fallen in love with them. I first started off with pencil eyeliner because that was the only type that i had access to. I used the Elizabeth Arden pencil eyeliner and it was great, however, like most other types of pencil liners, they smudged quite a bit throughout the course of the day which i assure you, is not a pretty sight. Afterwards i discovered that there was a thing called gel eyeliner and i bought my first Maybelline studio gel eyeliner, which was even easier than the pencil liner to apply but smudged a lot as well.  Finally, after watching Bubzbeauty, I decided to try my last resort, liquid liner. Apparently the K-palette liquid liner was the best selling liner in Japan so i thought why not give it a try! Going though a variety of eyeliners, I can finally say that I've found my HG eyeliner.

Packaging:

There has been many reviews that rave about how well the K-palette liquid liner and the Dolly wink liquid liner performed so i decided to compare to see which one was the best!
As you can see from the photo, the packaging is already extremely different. The K-palette

[REVIEW] JUJU Aquamoist Cleansing Oil + Swatches ♥

Hi Everyone!

Today's post is going to be about my first cleansing oil that I've tried :)
Over the past years, when it comes to removing makeup, I've only ever relied on make up wipes by Johnson & Johnson because they're cheap, easy to use and quick at getting rid of both eye makeup and face makeup. However, lately it seems that everyone has been going into the trend of using cleansing oil and talking about how amazing it is! Many beauty guru's rave about how great the Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil is and I really wanted to try it but it was a bit on the pricey side, so I turned to the cheaper alternative of the Juju Aquamoist Cleansing oil instead from Sasa, which you can get here.

As you can tell in the picture, its in a clear packaging with their usual labels on the front and

[REVIEW] Dolly Wink False Eyelashes (Natural Dolly) + Dolly Wink Eyelash Fix (Black) ♥

Hi Everyone!!

How are you all? ^_^ I've always been a fan of false eyelashes, but living in Australia, the only eyelashes that you can buy from drugstores are made to suit more western people's eyes rather than Asians. They are usually extremely dramatic and extremely long which is not the best choice if you want to wear it on a daily basis. Luckily for online shopping, I managed to buy my first set of falsies by Dolly Wink on Sasa!

Like always Dolly wink never fails to impress with their packaging! I'm absolutely in love with the baby blue colour and the little flowers at the top and of course Tsubasa Masuwaka on the front! However, the only criticism I have is that the packaging is very bulky and hard to store unless you just take out the lashes and keep them in a lash case!

VANITY BOX HAUL ♥ ft. Ameli Cosmetics

Hey Everyone!!

WARNING: PICTURE HEAVY ;)

I feel like I've neglected my blog for a really long time.. but now I'm back with a haul from Vanity Box which had a closing down sale a while ago, for 90% all cosmetics and fashion apparel and 70% off jewellery and accessories'. But, obviously I was only interested in the cosmetics section (As you can tell) ^^

So, on the website (which has closed down now) they stated that the order would take 3-4 days, however, honestly it took almost a week. I actually put in two separate orders so I thought that it would come separately, however everything came in one box (except two of my items were missing... which was disappointing). I've emailed them, but their customer service is a bit slow and now that even the website has closed down, I'm not sure if they're even going to reply..

Fashion Inspiration - Yesstyle.com.au ♥

Hi Everyone!

I'm a week away from exams right now and I was hoping to squeeze a few more posts in, but I haven't had any time sadly! Since I haven't been able to physically go out shopping, I decided to do it virtually ^^

I've been looking all over the internet for fashion inspiration and outfits ideas :)

Here are a few that I found,

[Review] Comparing Dolly Wink Long and Volume Mascara ♥

Hi everyone!

If you already don't know, Dolly Wink is one of my favourite Japanese cosmetic brands in the market and right now I'm really loving their volume and long mascara because they're designed perfectly for short stubby Asian lashes :)

In this blog post, I'll be comparing the two Dolly wink mascaras and by the end of the post, will tell you which one i love the most :) Please read on...  ♥

[REVIEW] Maybelline Nude Airfoam Foundation

Hi everyone!

I'm back with a review on the Maybelline Dream Nude Foam Foundation. I've been using this foundation for over a year now and i really wanted to review this product because i have to say, of all the foundations i've used over these year, this is definitely my HG foundation product.

To be honest, I was pretty skeptical when i first saw this product because i remember seeing a similar product from maybelline review from Bubzbeauty here and she was pretty dissapointed with the product. The bit where she said the foundation would oxidize during the day really put me off buying the product. However it was on sales at Target and i couldn't help but try a bit on my hand. It rubbed on really evenly on the back of my hand and i could see that a little product goes a long way so I ended up buying it since it was only like $10 on sales. I really had nothing to lose (Unless the product went wrong...).

So onto the product claims:

[REVIEW] Hair Extensions

Hello Everyone,

Hair extensions have been quite popular in the recent few years and I've always wanted to try, however a lot of the popular brands are quite expensive (ranging in the $150-$200) and i only really wanted to try it out for fun. So I looked around at eBay and found a cute set of synthetic extensions from a seller for only $5.09 AUD. I was so excited and immediately bought it.
The package comes with one set of hair extensions with five clips that are attachable to your head. Colourwise, you can choose from black, dark brown, blonde or light brown. I originally wanted to pick light brown but decided to buy the dark brown instead because its always better to have your hair darker than have extensions that are one or two shade colours lighter (making it look fake). The seller was very fast with the postage and came around in around a week (which i was quite happy about).

Here's a photo of what my hair looks like before and after extensions:

OOTD - Casual day out with Friends

Heyy everyone!!

It's been raining for the past week here in Australia and the sun only came out a few days ago. I really hate Winter because it's just SO hard to pick a good outfit. I was just going over to a friends house and it took me pretty much the whole night and morning to pick this outfit! I was contemplating on wearing jeans but i wanted to wear my Docs so i chose a black skater skirt instead :)

In this OOTD:

Black Skater Skirt from Ice Design - On Sale $9.99
Cream Knitted Jumper from Hong Kong (Actually my sister's, so i don't know what store it was from, but i'm pretty sure you can find a similar one from TEMT or Valleygirl)
Blue studded collar shirt from Target - On Sale $9.99

Actually really loving my Doc Martens which i got from Surfdome for around $120 AUD

This was a really quick post, I'm hoping to post more often since I'm on holidays so yay :)
