I'm super excited for today's post because I recently received my second Pink Bird Box from Etude House and this time there's heaps of goodies inside from their new collections. In this post I'll be quickly showing you what's inside the August box but the full review for each individual product will be up in separate posts within these two weeks. So if you want to know what's in my box, keep reading on.
ETUDE HOUSE recently released their Pink skull collection that is super chic and edgy but cute at the same time! There's a range of products in this collection including eyeshadow palettes, lip tints, perfume, mascara and nail polishes. The two things that I received in this Pink Bird box was the Twin Shot Lip Tint in RD304 and also the eyeshadow palette in #1.
First let's talk about the eyeshadow palette. There are 9 shades in the palette - some are shimmery and the others are matte. I really love the packaging of this palette because you can see all the shades inside through the clear lid without having to open it up. The shades are also really cute with lots of pink and brown shades. I generally go for the browns when it comes to my eyeshadow but I'm actually really interested in incorporating pinks into my eyeshadow because they look like really wearable shades and also Spring has just arrived so it should be okay to bring out the brighter colours! I didn't really expect much with the eyeshadows but when I tried some of them, they were surprisingly pigmented and the colour payoff was pretty good! If you want to see full swatches of the eyeshadows, make sure you stay updated with my blog as they will be in my full review of the product :)
ETUDE HOUSE also released their twin lip shots awhile ago and this one is the special Pink Skull edition. Essentially this product comes with two colours that have two different textures. One side is a soft mousse and you're meant to apply that colour first. Then on the other side is the moist colour tint (basically a gloss) that's meant to go in the inner part of the lips for a gradation effect. It's an interesting product and is really pigmented, kind of like a liquid lipstick!
ETUDE HOUSE Moistfull Collagen Cream x Disney Dumbo
The second collection that has been released by ETUDE HOUSE is this super cute Dumbo collection based on their popular Moistfull line. I've heard many great things about their Moistfull Collagen cream before but never actually tried until now. The cream in this collection is particularly special to this collection because it's a jumbo size with 110mL of product (the usual product only comes with 75g). This cream contains small collagen particles that's meant to keep your skin hydrated and soft. So far I quite like this cream, it definitely does it's job moisturising but that's because it's still a bit cold at the moment. In a few week's time when the Spring weather starts to warm up, I'm not sure how this will work with my oily skin. But I'll keep you guys updated in the full review! So far though - I'm enjoying this :)
There is also a sheet mask to accompany this cream. I'm assuming this mask is soaked in serum similar to the Moistfull collagen cream and so when you apply this, your skin will become really hydrated - especially after the combination of both products.
ETUDE HOUSE Play 101 Stick Contour Duo
This is the last product that came in the Pink Bird Box and it's a double ended contouring/highlighting duo. It comes in an easy twistable tube. The texture is really soft and like the play 101 pencils that I reviewed last time, they're super blendable on the skin. For a contouring noob like me, this contour stick works really well because it's extremely blendable so it's very forgiving if I mess up. The shading colour is a nice brown shade with no orange tinge to it which is good - suitable for nose, cheek, jawline, hairline contouring. On the other hand, the highlighter is not as obvious as I thought it would be. Instead, once it's blended, it just gives a natural brightening effect. It's suitable for the T-Zone, Cupid's bow, and brow bone highlight.
