Review | Etude House Sweet Recipe All Over Colour ♥

Today I'm back with another product review for the Etude House Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Colour that was sent to me by Honest Skin earlier this month !  It is currently on sale at the moment on Honest skin so if you're interested in purchasing this product after reading my review definitely go and check it out, I'll be leaving the links down below :)

I've tried the Etude House lip tints before and this is the first time trying their lip balm. Both the outside and inside packaging of the lip balm have very cute designs where the plastic looks like a cake container and the actual lip balm looks like a cake with the fruit corresponding to the flavour in a container made of tin. The shade that I was sent was in PK002 and it's a strawberry chiffon cake colour. 

I did a bit of research and found out that there are 5 shades that you can choose from the Sweet Recipe cupcake product line and you can check out the colours below - it basically ranges from a strawberry pink colour to orange to a bright red. I really love the colour range and they're each really cutely named :) 

The name of the shade is printed at the bottom of the cupcake for you'll never get your Cupcakes mixed up !

Also, this product is extremely versatile because the formula can be used as a lip colour, cheek stain and also as an eye shadow. So for those who don't like to buy a whole heap of makeup, this product may be for you because you can use the same colour for three different areas of the face making it cost friendly and travel friendly too - although i would probably only use this for lip purposes as I only like to use powder eye shadows and powder blushes (because they're easier to work with). 

Swatch ♥ 

I like to use my fingers to apply the balm because it's much quicker and easier for lazy people like me! The formula is extremely creamy and just a few swirls using your finger can pick up a lot of product. The colour is a really nice frosty baby pink colour, very girly and cute on the lips. One thing that I don't like about this is the smell of the balm. I'm not a fan of the scents of lip products in general but if you like the artificial smell, then you'll be fine with this product. After you apply it on your lips you won't be able to notice it so it's not a huge problem. Also, if you don't exfoliate your lips before using this and you have dry spots, it can accentuate them.

Again, Etude House can never dissapoint me packaging wise. I mean, who would hate this super adorable cupcake design? I love it! It's so cute and i especially love the outer packaging because it actually makes you feel like you're opening the box to a real cake!

At the time when I ordered this, it was already at a really affordable price at $7.12 USD but currently on Honest Skin there's a further sale on the product so now it's only $5.72 which is probably the cheapest price you could get online. So I would definitely give this product a 5 star rating :)

This product is really good overall. I really like the texture and pigmentation but it's lacking moisturising properties making it a downside as it makes the lips look extra dry (which I can tell you, isn't a very pretty look ;P )
